Jillian Ness, a first-year graduate student, won Conference award for the best talk by a graduate student at the 44th Annual Midwest Photosynthesis Conference, October 26-28, 2018, on the topic “Structure-based Change in the Rate-Limiting Step of Photosynthetic Electron Transport,” co-authored by S. Saif Hasan, K. Effinger, S. Naurin, V. Stadnytski, S. Bhaduri, M. Ibrahim, and S. Puthiyaveetil.
